Meet Dr. Vasilios “Bill” Pavlakos

"Dr. Bill," as his patients refer to him, is married to his high school sweetheart Vangie. They married in 1979 and have two children, Nectarios and Rose. Dr. Pavlakos’ son is following in his footsteps. Dr. Bill enjoys golf, music, and is a big LOBO fan. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a member of the Aegean Sounds Greek band where he plays the keyboards.

Joyce has been with Dr. Pavlakos since 1993 where she began her career in Dentistry. She has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2002. She primarily works at the front desk as our Office and Account Manager. Joyce is always happy to assist Dr. Pavlakos whenever she is needed. Joyce will do anything for anyone at any time. The saying we have for her is: “Joyce will do it!” Joyce will be happy to assist you with maximizing your insurance benefits and will jump hoops for our patients.



Joyce has two beautiful daughters that live in Albuquerque. She enjoys being outside in the great New Mexico weather walking her three dogs, hiking, camping and skiing. Her hobby is woodworking.

I also love working with my co-workers and Dr. Pavlakos and I think that together we make a warm and caring team of healthcare professionals.”

Christine, Registered Dental Hygienist

Christine has been in dentistry since 1985. She worked as a Dental Assistant for three years prior to graduating from the University of New Mexico Dental Hygiene program in 1988. Christine has been with Dr. Pavlakos since 1992. She has a gentle touch and does a meticulous job when treating our patients and their families. She loves and cares for our patients very much and genuinely enjoys and takes pride in her work. Her sincerity in caring for each and every patient and natural humor make her a joy to have in the practice.

​Christine has two wonderful sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and bike riding. She also enjoys cooking.

Katrina, Registered Dental Hygenist

Katrina has been with Dr. Pavlakos since she graduated in 2013 from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Katrina truly cares about her patients and believes that a healthy, confident and attractive smile is a key factor for general health and success.

Her delicate touch and emphasis on detail keeps patients feeling comfortable. She loves educating patients on the importance of their oral health and helping them feel better about their smile and overall health. She takes great pride in her work and loves getting to know each of her patients. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, skiing, cooking and playing volleyball.
